Internal divisions delay Ngāpuhi treaty settlement

Northland iwi Ngapuhi's treaty settlement which Prime Minister John Key had hoped to reach an initial agreement on this year is likely to take two to three years, partly as a result of internal divisions, iwi leader Sonny Tau says.

An essay competition which encourages students to write about the 28th Maori Battalion has been re-designed so digital entries can be sent in by Maori students.

Descendants want spot on board

There's a call to reserve positions on the Waitangi National Trust Board for descendants of four significant Māori figures.

NetHui 2014 @July 9-11 (Sky City, Auckland)

The annual event, hosted by InternetNZ, brings together New Zealand’s Internet community to plan and execute the three day event. There will be prominent New Zealand speakers, community-led sessions on all kinds of Internet Issues, political discussions and a range of side events.
