                                    Police meeting to be held 13th October 10 00 am for                                              marae re Preventative Justice.

                                    CYF internal audit held, approved for another 2 years                                              as a provider.

                                    Foodbank – demand getting heavier.  Have had                                            $500.00 donated.

                                    Still seeking avenues for purchase of a van.

 

General Business

 

1.             At a wananga held at Parihaka Marae it was revealed that the bones of Kupe were supposed to be returned to the area but arrangements had not been put in place by Pat Hohepa.  Sonny Tau promised to action.  An Ariki from Tahiti had visited with the kaupapa.  Further developments will be reported.

2.             Coroner will be present at the next meeting.

3.             Marie to speak to Susan Dunn re first aid training.

4.             Housing NZ are offering sale of houses to tenants.
