  • Asset Holding Company has purchased Caltex site.
  • House in Wihongi Street sold.
  • Hapū Development – Edith leading a sub-committee.

Tuhoronuku - Claims

  • Rūnanga taking a leadership role.
  • Hearings continuing to October.
  • Hapū representatives coming together.
  • Looking to sitting with the Crown to settle claims by the end of the year.
  • Developing a hapū driven model.
  • Hapū need to decide on their representatives.
  • Hapū representatives to appoint seven members to Te Rōpu o Tuhoronuku – two appointed by Rūnanga – they are paying the bills. Kaumātua and Kūia representative.
  • Te Rōpu o Tuhoronuku will appoint their negotiators.
  • Go to http://www.tuhoronuku.com - to put in your ideas.
  • Noted that Greg Davis is to be sworn in as a judge on 24 June.
