General

  • Governor General visiting Kaikohe 27 May – Whakatau at Northland College 10:00am – Takiwā support welcome.
  • Te Hauora o Kaikohe –
    • Rheumatic Fever – Very important to follow up sore joints and sore throats.
    • Very successful preserving workshop.
    • Skating Competition.
    • Heart screening in at New World 14 May.
    • Boot camp next week.
    • Master Marae competition coming.

  • Letter of support wanted for Māhuhu-ki-te-rangi.
  • Winnie reported on the availability of an expert team from Te Papa to take a free archiving workshop.
    • Allen said that Rūnanga could support such a workshop.
